Judgment of Compliance:
Southwest Tennessee Community College draws on the
legacies of two colleges, Shelby State Community College, founded in
1970 and State Technical Institute at Memphis, founded in 1967, which
were consolidated July 1, 2000. The college offers 26 degree programs
and 23 certificate programs [1].
